oke Mike Hancock, a 10th degree Black Belt, is Master Instructor of IOBK. Mike began his training at age 12.  With over 40 years training in Shin-mei Karate, he's an expert in his field.  His mentor is the world renowned, Master Fusei Kise.  Mike also holds a 10th degree Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu.  Mike has been a police officer for over 35 years, and has been an instructor for various police agencies since 1970.  He holds a Juris Doctor in Law, and PhD. in Oriental Philosophy.  He is a Florida certified teacher, and recognized by the U.S. government as an expert in martial arts.  Mike is also V.P. of the U.S. Specialized Law Enforcement Training Commission. 

oke Dai Amy Hancock is Head Instructor of IOBK, and holds a 9th degree Black Belt--the highest ranking woman in the world of this system, today.  Amy has been a police officer since 1982, and a police defensive tactics instructor since 1975.  Soke Dai Hancock is a Florida certified teacher, and holds a PhD. in Oriental Philosophy.  She is Vice President of the U.S. Specialized Law Enforcement Training Commission.  Soke Dai Hancock began her training at age 19 with Soke Mike Hancock.  She has trained with Master Kise and Kuda, and has performed in Okinawa, Japan.
